A 27-YEAR-OLD woman had admitted she is ADDICTED to bodybuilding and believes all women would benefit from lifting

Rahki Giovanni from Miami, Florida began pumping iron in 2015 to help her mental and physical health.

At one point, the young woman would spend eight hours in the gym at a time and now has an extremely defined body and thighs so muscular they can crush watermelons.

She told Barcroft TV: “Before working out my body was a mess, I was huge. I was overweight, it was obvious that I had a lot of baggage but as far as inside I was done, it was rotten. All I ate was candy and eat sweets, drink alcohol.

“I didn’t start training and take it seriously until I was at a very bad point in my life, so when I did notice a change it was like, for me it was drastic because nothing new was coming into my life, I was in such a dark place that there was no light.

“Initially back then I used to be in the gym for hours - like eight hours.”

Her mother Myrna added: “When she was in high school she was overweight and she came a long way because she started working out and going to the gym and just working out everyday.”

And the influencer believes that more women should follow in her footsteps, and body build.

“I think a lot of women are afraid of weight training because of course with what the industry has said, with the rumours, false information and then of course the extremists.

“Some of the female bodybuilders, some of the competitors, some of them have gone extreme to reach their goals.

“I absolutely think that more women should work out. Working out as far as women it is not about the way you look, it is about taking care of yourself internally so if you are afraid to look a certain way and that is why you don’t want to work out you are doing it for the wrong reason.

“Take care of yourself and get yourself conditioned to release the toxins, that is working out.”

Now, the personal trainer, YouTuber and influencer trains everyday for two hours, and admits she is addicted to bodybuilding.

She said: “I think I’m definitely addicted to bodybuilding. As crazy as it may seem I see bodybuilding as building my body.

“Am I addicted? Yeah, It’s an addiction. It is a real addiction.”

Rahki has gained a huge following on social media because of her unique physique, and even local celebrity status.

She said: "Right now on my Instagram I think I have over 300,000 followers, as far as messages, I know on an average I get about 150 messages a day, so if I post anything on Instagram I get about 500-800 messages.

“As far as reactions and comments that I receive online, I get all kinds I can say that 90 percent of that is love.”

Her mum said: ”She’s a local celebrity, everybody, they want to talk to her, they want to take pictures. It’s a good feeling.

“She’s a big inspiration and she’s a good role model for a lot of people her age.”

Rahki has even begun training her mother, who is almost 60 years old.

She said: "I’m my mother’s personal trainer and training her is really fun and it’s also funny, because sometimes we lose focus because she’s really funny.

“But training my mom is a good experience. I feel like it’s my duty."

The bodybuilder can squat an amazing 530lbs, and even is able to crush watermelons with her strong thighs.

Due to her unique physique, Rahki finds it difficult to find clothes which fit her muscular frame.

She said: "I usually have to buy clothes in different places because my body, clearly like, my physique. I can't, usually the bottom fits, the top doesn’t fit.”

Rahki is proud of the time and care she has taken to achieve her dream physique, and now loves to show it off.

She said: “I love showing off my body because I never looked like this.”
