Izzie Rodgers, from Bedfordshire, started watching acne positivity vlogs on YouTube and joined various forums for advice and support. Since she became more comfortable with her acne, Izzie started a YouTube channel about her skin journey to be that kind of support to others. The 22-year-old told Truly: “My mental health was terrible when my skin erupted. I would spend entire days from morning to night in my bed crying about it.” As her view towards herself and her skin has changed, she learned how to accept and embrace her acne. Izzie continued: “I say when I look in the mirror now I see a confident girl that just loves herself for who she is. I’ve definitely come to love my acne 100%.”
